Intratec distributor housings are suitable for a wide range of applications. They can be used for power distribution, protect devices or circuit boards from dust and moisture or even provide a secure hold and protection for push buttons or switches and membrane keypads. The housings have IP 65 protection and even meet the requirements for outdoor use. All plastics used are UV-resistant and therefore guarantee a long service life even outdoors.
The special feature of this housing design is the raised lid. The housing has a height of 175mm in contrast to the usual total height of 70mm for this housing size. The housing thus offers a lot of space for very high installations with small dimensions.
The smooth housing sides of the lower part allow any number of holes in different sizes for the insertion of cable glands. You can also order the matching cable glands in our eBay shop, of course you pay only one-time shipping costs.
The cover is fastened with 4 self-tapping screws on the lower part. The screws are of course located outside the circumferential rubber seal to guarantee the maximum degree of protection and thus the maximum protection against moisture and dust inside.
